Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in Sri Lanka.

Bandaranaike International Airport – Sigiriya

Welcome to Sri Lanka, The Pearl of the Indian Ocean. On arrival at the
Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by
our representative and Chauffeur guide.

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be
met by your guide & transfer to your hotel in Sigiriya.

Sit back and enjoy the drive surrounded by great scenery, journeying through the local villages, small towns, coconut plantations, paddy fields and small forest patches.

Check-in at WATER GARDEN – Sigiriya, and spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 1 Sigiriya

In the morning climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Rising dramatically from the central plains, this enigmatic rocky
outcrop is perhaps Sri Lanka’s single most dramatic sight and a
UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Village tour in Habarana rural village. To understand and interact with Sri Lanka’s real rural life, do a rural trip. A typical home-cooked supper is served at one of the locals’ homes to round off a delectable excursion that includes a traditional bullock cart ride, a trip across the lakes on a native catamaran, and interactions with farmers and villages.

Highlights – Climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Visit Habarana Village tour.

A relaxing overnight stay at WATER GARDEN – Sigiriya.

Sigiriya – Kandy
3 hours (approx.)

After the breakfast, leave for Kandy. En Route, visit Dambulla cave
Temple: The largest and best-maintained complex of cave temples in
Sri Lanka is located at Dambulla. 160 meters above the surrounding
plain, the granite towers soar.

Afterwards, visit the Matale Spice Garden. Turmeric, pepper, and
cardamom are among the Sri Lankan herbs and spices in the
garden.

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in the evening. The temple of the
tooth relic is a Buddhist temple, located in the royal palace complex of the ancient kingdom of Kandy, where the Buddha’s tooth is enshrined.

A relaxing overnight stay THE KANDY HOUSE – Kandy.

Morning visit to Peradeniya Botanical Garden. The Royal Botanic
Gardens, Peradeniya are in Sri Lanka’s Central Province, around 5.5 km west of Kandy. It can be found close to the Mahaweli River. It is well known for its orchid collection.

Witness the Kandy cultural show. The cultural dance show is a showcase of Sri Lankan arts, dance, and cultural heritage. During the show, you can witness several dances depicting the graceful  ovements of birds and animals, originating in an ancient ritual known as kohomba kankariya. Go for a stroll around Kandy Lake.This lake,  hich
is an artificial lake located in the center of the hill city of Kandy, is
also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk.

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
3 hours (approx.)

Train ride from Kandy to Nanuoya/Nuwara Eliya and go through the
tea carpets of Ceylon. Evening at leisure.

Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England,” is a charming city
nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka’s central highlands. This picturesque
destination is renowned for its cool, misty climate, lush tea plantations, and colonial-era architecture. Visitors are drawn to its
breathtaking landscapes, including serene lakes, cascading waterfalls, and the world-famous Ceylon tea gardens. Nuwara Eliya is a perfect escape for those seeking respite from the island’s tropical heat and a taste of its colonial heritage.

Nuwara Eliya – Ella
2 hours 30 mins (approx.)

Morning visit Horton Plains National Park. Horton Plains is the only
national park in Sri Lanka where visitors are allowed to walk freely
inside. The climate here is a wet montane climate with a mean annual
temperature of 15 centigrade. Horton Plains is famous for World’s End, a stunning viewpoint, which is a sheer drop of 870 meters hidden in clouds.

Afterward, transfer to Ella and go through the tea carpets of Ceylon. En Route visit, Nine Arches Bridge. The nine arch bridge is one of the
best examples of colonial-era railway construction in Sri Lanka. It
is located in the Demodara area between Ella and Demodara
railway stations.

Ella is a popular trekking destination in Sri Lanka’s mountainous
terrain. Some of the views from Ella walks are stunning, and the region is widely renowned for its tea plantations and spectacular mountain ranges. Little Adam’s Peak Hike is ideal for an incredible sunset and to experience some of the best views without having to hike for hours.

Also visit Ravana Falls, which is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri
Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. The
falls have been named after the legendary king Ravana, which is
connected to the famous Indian epic, the Ramayana. According to
legend, it is said that Ravana (who was the king of Sri Lanka at the
time) had kidnapped princess Sita, and had hidden her in the caves
behind this waterfall.

Ella – Yala

After breakfast leave for Yala.

Morning and afternoon safaris at Yala National Park. Yala National Park is the island’s principal national park and offers the greatest diversity of animal and birdlife in the country. The habits found in the park are wide-ranging, from freshwater lakes to beaches, rocky outcrops to green plains and jungle.

Yala is famed for its impressive leopard population, making it a prime spot for big cat sightings. Alongside these elusive predators, visitors can encounter a rich tapestry of wildlife, including elephants,
crocodiles, and numerous bird species in this natural haven.

Yala – Galle
3 hours (approx.)

Transfer to Galle.

Witness the Stilt Fishing. Stilt Fishing is one of the most interesting traditional fishing methods in Sri Lanka. The beautiful sight of fishermen perched on branched poles as they fish skillfully during dawn, noon, and dusk; can now be common along the southern coast in towns such as Koggala, Kathaluwa, and Ahangama. En Route, visit  alle Dutch Fort. All tourist images and descriptions reflect the  UNESCO World Heritage Sites Galle Dutch Fort story.
