best-maintained complex of cave temples in Sri Lanka is located at Dambulla. 160 meters above the surrounding plain, the granite towers soar. Visit the temple of the tooth relic in the evening. The temple of the tooth relic is a Buddhist temple, located in the royal palace complex of the ancient kingdom of Kandy, where the  Buddha’s tooth is enshrined.

Morning, drive to Mirissa and board a boat from the fisheries harbor out to sea. Blue Whales in unprecedented densities would be the main attraction. A cluster of blue whales of
this size can only be imagined by whale watchers. Blue whales are spotted relatively near to shore during the migration since the continental shelf to the south of Dondra is narrow. Following your encounter with the blue whales, your naturalist will take you further out to sea in search of sperm whales. Sperm whales have been seen within a few kilometers of shore on occasion.
